So you may not know, but the battle for Internet Freedom continues. This is being negotiated IN SECRET and many European Countries have already passed it- without their citizens knowing. ACTA is a breech of human rights and will kill the Internet. You won't be able to share your music, you can be permanently banned from the Internet and sent to jail for watching or even linking to YouTube videos.
ACTA is worse than SOPA. ACTA means if you download stuff you can be legally blacklisted and permanently cut off from the Internet. ACTA needs to be stopped.And we need your help.
ACTA works worldwide, not just in Europe.

the second one is to join us for Black March. Black March means an embargo against the entertainment industry who is paying to have the freedom of the internet destroyed. Just don't buy anything from them in March. No music, no movies, no videogames. Now here's where it gets personal. I'm from Romania. I lived under communism. I know what it's like to have no freedom.It's not pretty. We used to be afraid to talk to strangers. A bad joke could land you in jail, or your parents.ACTA will limit your freedom and break the internet, so that the entertainment industries can make more money. The same people who screw real artists over and try to force us to buy crap plastic music and worthless films are trying to steal our freedom. Maybe you think we can't do much about it. We already managed to stop SOPA, remember?
Please understand that I do not support stealing. I believe in tryign beforer you buy, and if you liek it, buy it. peopel do buy music online, otherwise there wouldn't be so mny platinum albums(even though they're for shit music imo, but that's another story). the Internet is not destroying the entertainment industry. Their own greed and stupidity is. people buy what they like, but we've been forced to listen to so much soulless crap of course we don't want to buy it.If you are an artist and think ACTA will protect your rights... you are wrong. ACTA protects the rights of the music industry. The same people that screw you over. The same people that maybe denied you promo money unless you only put commercial shit on you albums. The same people who woldn't sign you because you're not cmmercial enouh. the same people who, after 10 years and 5 albums, put you in a 30 minutes opening slot in a 500 people venue.The Internet is not your enemy. If ACTA passes, how will people hear about your music?
