Shitty plagiarizing band yet again gets more accolades than it deserves

EXODUS Drummer TOM HUNTING: PAUL BALOFF 'Loved Metal More Than Any Of Us Ever Could

These guys in Exodus really need to keep their lies in check. It's so funny to see the story unravel where Dukes alternatively did and didn't sing on BIBO and how "Zetro out of the blue came in the studio to do some songs" as if it hadn't been orchestrated by Chuck Billy and such a shit decision that Gary Holt is yet to take responsibility for it.
Tom Hunting being the guy who actually fired Dukes on his honeymoon via a very short phonecall seems to really need to cover his own ass- one has to wonder to whom is he trying to justify it.

On with the sanitized version from B'mouth

CANDLEBOX Signs With PAVEMENT ENTERTAINMENT

CANDLEBOX has inked a deal with Pavement Entertainment. The band is currently writing and recording the follow-up to 2012's "Love Stories And Other Musings" album with producer Carson Slovak and Grant McFarland for an early 2016 release.

"CANDLEBOX is excited about being part of the Pavement Entertainment team. They have great roster of artists and all of us at CANDLEBOX are looking forward to a successful 2016," states frontman Kevin Martin.

SLAYER Profiled As Part Of The Smithsonian Institute's 'Places Of Musical Innovation' Exhibit

The Smithsonian Institute's National Museum Of History has just posted a profile of SLAYER and the "Origins Of Thrash" as part of its "Places Of Musical Innovation" exhibit. Check it out below.

Asked if the thrash acts shared any fans with glam bands in the '80s, SLAYER guitarist Kerry King told LA Weekly: "It wouldn't surprise me if eventually. What we were doing and METALLICA and MEGADETH was more street. That's how those things pan out. I knew there was going to be a big wave of people getting into metal again when DISTURBED and GODSMACK started getting big. These people get tired of this and look for the next thing. And even though we're not the next thing, we're the next level of rage, so to speak."
